A few statistics for Berlin Lake

• One of 16 flood control projects in the Pittsburgh District of the US Army Corps of Engineers
• Construction completed in 1943
• Located in NE Ohio (Mahoning, Portage, and Stark Counties)
• Project size is 7,990 acres, with a lake size of 5,500 (reservoir maximum acres), & a normal summer pool of 3,590 acres
• Recreation includes fishing, camping, boating, hunting
